🤖 It’s official! Luxembourg is thrilled to announce that it will host the new WHO/Europe office on artificial intelligence in health! 🏆 The WHO Regional Committee for Europe #RC76CPH, meeting in Copenhagen, has selected Luxembourg’s offer following a demanding process and several rounds of voting. 🏥 The new office will be part of WHO Regional Office for Europe and support European Member States in using AI in health safely, ethically and for the benefit of all. 🤝 This achievement is the result of a collective effort. Our warm thanks go to our colleagues at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and across our diplomatic network, whose engagement with partners throughout the Region made the difference. 🇱🇺 We also extend our sincere thanks to the Ministry Economy, Digitalisation, and Research and Higher Education for working with us to develop this offer. 🙏 Our gratitude also goes to the Standing Committee of the Regional Committee for its careful assessment, WHO/Europe for its support, and all Member States that placed their trust in Luxembourg. ➡️ The next step is the host agreement with WHO/Europe.
